The president of the Australian Internet Industry Association <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cio.com.au\/article\/381359\/days_individual_security_over_says_aiia_chief\/\">seems to think so<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While security was once implemented on a per-machine basis, new threats require countermeasures at the network and protocol levels. Nowhere is this more obvious than in hosted applications and other SaaS implementations.
